I was thinking on my way home from school about my life this time last year. I was laying in a hospital bed waiting for my boys. At that point I just wanted to have them so I could go home. I had been there already for over 3 weeks.
I really had no clue what to expect when my babies would be born. I really did not think of that. I don't know if other mothers have that feeling. Its like your done being pregnant and you just want your body back and you just want to sleep with out getting up to pee 100 times. Its just you kind of want your life back, but you really don't ever, or should I say you do but its really different!
I layed in bed at night and cried and cried. I miss my home, I missed my dog and I missed my bed. I had no clue than were I would be in one year.
So mush has happened in so little time. The boys where born, Aidan was back in the hospital, than each of them had surgery(on separate times ), my sister would move down, I went back to work, I quite work, we decided to move and we did!, we bought a house, Kyle got a great job, I went back to school and a big birthday party to end the first crazy year. Would I change anything? Maybe something. But I would do it all again for them! I wanted nothing more than to have my own family and here it is!!
I remember after I had the boys (like seconds after) A doctor came over to me to tell me that the boys where doing great. They where breathing on there own and they look wonderful. Than he joked about us having an "instant family". Boy was he right! As I was driving I was wondering where I will be one year from now. I never think ahead. Gosh I don't even know what I am doing in one week let alone a year. I do like the excitement! The thrill of not knowing.....Its a rush!
I got home eary tonight from class, so I got to see the boys before they went to bed. I hate coming home late and they are already sleeping. Kyle had there PJ's on before I got home so we just played for awhile and than I brushed there 4 teeth and it was off to nite nite land.
